Bio

Dr. Ng is an experienced neurosurgeon specialising in cerebrovascular and skull base surgery. Prior to joining private practice, he was the Head of Department at National Neuroscience Institute (NNI) at Tan Tock Seng Hospital Campus and Head of Neurosurgery in Woodlands Health.

He completed one year of endovascular fellowship in Oxford University under HMDP award and obtained his MSc degree.

With over 12 years of experience, Dr. Ng’s expertise lies in treating conditions such as brain aneurysms, arteriovenous malformations (AVMs), Moyamoya disease, carotid disease and brain tumours.

Throughout his career, he has been involved in clinical research particularly in the areas of haemorrhagic stroke and has contributed to peer-reviewed publications in leading medical journals.

An advocate for continuous learning, Dr. Ng regularly speaks at international conferences and mentors future neurosurgeons as part of the Education Committee at AASNS. Prior to leaving for private practice, he was Adjunct Assistant Professor at Duke-NUS Medical School and Clinical Lecturer at Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine.
