Dr Lee graduated in University of Western Ontario, London Canada in May 2007 and started her medical career in Singapore in October 2007. She obtained her membership to Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists and Master of Medicine in O&G in May 2015. Prior to private practice, she was a Consultant with Department of Obstetrics & Gynaecology in Singapore General Hospital.
Dr Lee believes every woman is unique and care of patients should be patient-centred and affordable. She is committed to integrating evidence-based practices with holistic approaches to empower women throughout their pregnancy and childbirth journey.
With her many years of experience in a tertiary hospital, she is experienced in managing a wide range of gynaecological condition such as menstrual issues, fibroids, polyps, ovarian cyst, polycystic ovaries, endometriosis and menopausal symptoms.
Her special interest is in early cancer prevention, screening and treatment of precancerous condition of cervix, vagina and vulva. An accredited colposcopist, she is currently serving as Council Member in the Society of Colposcopy and Cervical Pathology of Singapore (SCCPS). Her other clinical expertise in urogynaecology includes the management of pelvic floor disorders, particularly urinary incontinence and prolapse. Her aim of surgery is to be as minimally invasive as possible and to allow enhanced post-surgery recovery.
Training medical students and junior doctors is also one of her dedication. She was a clinical tutor for Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, Faculty Member for SingHealth PGY1 and Family Medicine Residency Programme in O&G. Besides regular tutorials to the juniors, she has given numerous talks in public or GP forum and in conferences. Her contribution in research and publication includes areas of antenatal care, HPV screening, fertility and women’s health.
Dr Lee’s patients and colleagues always describes her as “gentle, friendly and approachable”. In recognition for her devotion towards patient care and education, she received the Service with a Heart Award (2017, 2021, 2024), Long Service Award (2019), Outstanding Faculty Award (2021), Singapore Health Quality Service Gold Award (2023) and Dean’s Award for Teaching Excellence (2024).
Dr Lee is fluent in English, Mandarin, Malay, Cantonese and speaks basic Hokkien. She is accredited to perform surgical procedures at Thomson Medical Centre, Mount Elizabeth Novena Hospital, Mount Elizabeth Hospital, Parkway East Hospital, Gleneagles Hospital and Farrer Park Hospital. She is also continuing to serve in the public sector as a Visiting Consultant in Singapore General Hospital.
