Bio

Dr Sheah is a diagnostic radiologist specialising in musculoskeletal imaging. He is trained in interpreting Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) scans for various musculoskeletal injuries from those sustained by elite athletes to spine fractures in the elderly.

He performs intra-articular and spinal injections (knee, shoulder, ankle and hip joints, spine) for pain relief and diagnostic investigation, and advanced imaging-guided procedures including vertebroplasty, nucleoplasty and radiofrequency treatments.

Dr Sheah's clinical interests extend to venous access, varicose vein ablation, sclerotherapy and radiofrequency ablation of thyroid nodules.

He contributes to medical literature as a reviewer for Skeletal Radiology and the Singapore Medical Journal. He is also a co-author of the 'Shoulder' chapter in Haaga's CT and MRI of the Whole Body and has contributed to Kamarkar's Atlas of Sonoanatomy.

In 2002, Dr Sheah was awarded the Young Radiologist of the Year by the Singapore Radiological Society.
